Wir demonstrieren heute! Insgesamt 50.000 Studierende marschieren hier, um zu demonstrieren! Es sind ca. 50 Gehörlose mit dabei!

Die Gehörlosen werden von den Hörenden unterstützt – gemeinsam sind wir stark und haben mehr POWER! Barrierefreien Hochschulzugang fordern wir JETZT!

Two interesting News from Deaf students in New Zealand

1. A Deaf student in New Zealand is using a broadband to see interpreter in Auckland (while in Dunedin, 2 1/2 hours flight south!). In Dunedin there are no interpreters.

Finally we have finished writing our report of the “International Deaf Student Meeting” in Vienna on the 29th of December of 2005. Some notes were taken on the situation in each country that participed on this meeting.
